In this blog, we're sharing some of our New Hotels For 2024 as well as a few returning favourites we know you'll be happy to see again. From Bali's Blue Earth Village to the traditional Hera gulet from our new Ionian Liveaboard, we're offering a unique variety of world-class boats and hotels, situated in idyllic locations.
You'll never be too far from the water and you'll also have everything you need, including those basic amenities and everyday comforts we crave after active days in local seas, rivers and lakes.
Your Favourites Return For 2024!
Blue Earth Village (Bali): In the lost paradise of Indonesia, you'll find an evolving educational and community venue called the Blue Earth Village. This is your home for our exciting Bali adventures, perched in a sea-facing position, overlooking the beautiful Amed coast with a volcanic backdrop of Mount Agung.
Hotel Jezero (Slovenia): Hotel Jezero is the pearl of Bohinj located on the banks of its picturesque lake. Shadowed by the Julian Alps, this hotel is the perfect base for your weekend of walking and swimming in the Slovenian Alps. At the end of each day you can relax back on the hotel deck overlooking the lake or continue your activity in the hotel pool or gym.
Duke Boutique Hotel (Malta): The Duke Boutique Hotel is situated in the heart of Victoria and enjoys excellent views all around the island. The owners, Jason & Sharon Galea are long-time friends of SwimTrek, having hosted our trips to Malta since 2010. They have an excellent understanding of your needs during this trip!
New Hotels For 2024!

Liveaboard: Gulet Hera
Accommodation for our new Ionian Liveaboard trip is aboard the Hera Gulet - a traditional gulet with a length of 30 metres and total capacity of 25 people.
All cabins are air conditioned and en-suite, with both shower and toilet. You can also enjoy Egyptian cotton towels, sheets and pillowcases. Cabins have LED down-lighters and power socket with USB charge point. Cabins are on the lower and upper deck.
Mango Bay Resort
The Mango Bay Resort is your new home for our British Virgin Islands trip, ensuring guests can enjoy their luxury Caribbean getaway to its fullest. Look forward to caring and attentive management, as well as friendly staff who will accommodate your beachside stay in style.

Baluma Hotel, Porto Petro
Featuring typical Mediterranean décor, Hotel Baluma is situated within a stones throw of the harbour. Boasting comfortable rooms that are fully equipped with aircon, Wi-Fi and twin or double set beds. Breakfast with a sea view, 25-metre swimming pool and sun deck are just a few of the highlights of the hotel, but the real champion is the location and ease of access to the harbour and beaches.
Hotel Glavović
Join us at Lopud's oldest hotel! Hotel Glavović is the perfect base for our adventures in Croatia's Elaphiti Islands.
You'll stay with us at this family-run hotel on seafront of Lopud island. It has certainly come a long way since 1927 (Hotel Glavović was the first hotel built on the island) when it opened its doors to the Croatian locals and tourists who regularly visit Lopud. Modern amenities include satellite TV's, Wi-Fi and standard air conditioning for all the rooms.
We're also close to Dubrovnik - 'the pearl of the Adriatic' - one of the region's best-loved destinations. While Lopud is rich in Mediterranean vegetation, surrounded by the sunlit Adriatic Sea.

Flamingo Cat Ba Beach Resort
Let's just take a second to stop and appreciate the Flamingo Cat Ba Beach Resort! This will be your new Vietnam base for the 2024 season. From here we will venture out to swim among over 300 otherworldly limestone islets and karst islands which jut up from the emerald waters of Lan Ha Bay.

Mentor Hotel
The Mentor Hotel was the first organised hotel on the island (built in 1969) and still sits right at the heart of the harbour – mere minutes from the main square.
There are a number of local restaurants nearby and you can enjoy easy access to coastal walks and plenty of exploration to other parts of the Ionian as well.
You will also find yourself within a few metres from the sea, spoilt for seafront views of boats in the port of Vathi!

Captain Yiannis Hotel
The Captain Yiannis Hotel is tucked further round the bay, offering spectacular views of Vathy itself. Guests can venture into Vathy each evening or explore further north to the yacht marina. You’re also within walking distance of Loutsa Beach, and, with its own pool, this is the perfect location to relax by the water.
Maldives Legend Fleet
The Maldives Legend fleet consists of new vessels that were either refurbished or built between the years of 2019 and 2023.
