Daily Itineraries

Please note that the below daily itineraries are an example of the swims that may take place during the course of your trip, however, actual swim locations and distances will vary according to local weather and sea conditions. Your SwimTrek guides and local boat pilot will determine the most suitable swim locations each day and will communicate the plan with all guests as soon as possible.

Day 1

After meeting your guides and fellow guests at your accommodation, we hold a welcome meeting and safety briefing where we will run through the plans for the days ahead. Following this, we hold an acclimatisation swim at the beach directly in front of our hotel. This is an ideal opportunity for you to get used to the local conditions.

Day 2

We meet our support boat and travel down Ugljan’s north coast on our way to Mali Zdrelac, which divides Ugljan from the island of Pasman. Once we make our way through the strait, we arrive into the stunning Sabusica Bay, which will be the focus of our first full day of swimming.

The morning swim is a coastal from Point Karantun. The scenery is typically Croatian, with a rocky coastline leading our way and is an ideal opening swim for the trip. After lunch on board our boat, we make our way to the northern part of the bay and carry our our first island-hop as we swim from the mainland to Skolj and then onto Bisaje, both of which are uninhabited.

Day 3

Heading back to the north, we set off from the island of Sestrunj on another crossing, this time to Zverinac. The waters in this area are crystal clear, with excellent visibility and some interesting underwater formations.

In the afternoon, we return back to Sestrunj via its isolated south east coast where we carry out a picturesque coastal swim which is known for its variety of local flora and fauna below the water surface.

Day 4

Today we head to the southern shore of Iz, from where we carry out a unique island hopping/coastal swim between the uninhabited islands of Kudica to Fulija. The islands here are made out of limestone and dolomite which makes the water clarity truly spectacular.

In the afternoon, we journey to Pasman, the greenest of all of Croatia’s Adriatic islands. Our final swim of the trip is a stunning coastal swim, finishing in the narrow Ugljan-Pasman Channel which separates these two islands.

Day 5

This morning this is time for one final pre-breakfast swim in the Adriatic before our trip comes to an end. The swim take place from the beach in front of our hotel before we head back to our accommodation for breakfast and to say our farewells at the end of a great trip.
