Tour Highlights
Enjoy shorter swims as we explore the Canaries’ archipelago, diving into warm waters off the volcanic southern coast of Gran Canaria.
Enjoy coastal Atlantic swims on a Short Escape swimming holiday as we make the most of high average water temperatures and calm open water conditions for early and late season swimmers.
Combine your time in the water with sampling the delicious Spanish cuisine at traditional restaurants and tapas bars.
Join us in the Canaries’ archipelago as we explore the diverse terrain of its third-largest island. Gran Canaria is known for its varying landscapes, from green northern reaches through mountainous midlands to the more arid southern coast.
During this Short Escape swimming holiday, we will weave around the island’s southern fingers. Here you will find yourself protected from prevailing winds, sheltered in warm bays and by cliff-edged stretches, which serve as ideal settings for our daily swims.
Local Atlantic swims around this popular Spanish island are not quickly forgotten. Enjoy high average water temperatures and calm open water conditions for both early and late season swimmers. You can also combine your strokes in the water with time well-spent in a choice of traditional restaurants and tapas bars amongst the busy hustle and bustle of the popular town.
Found your ideal swimming destination, but looking for a slightly different challenge? Please check out our standard Puerto De Mogan trip for longer swimming distances!
