Prepare for BEST Fest on a SwimTrek Training Camp

By Olivia Weatherill , 18 September, 2019

As we reach the end of the summer, you may be thinking about what swim challenges you’d like to take on next year. Now that we’ve launched our range of coaching trips for 2020, there’s plenty of options to help you prepare for your next swimming event. We can help you train whatever swimming goals you have in mind, be that an English Channel crossing or your first open water swimming race.

The BEST Fest has been a popular event to attend for many SwimTrekkers over the years, with guide Mark Johnston and guest Ceri Edwards scooping some top awards in 2019 and 2019’s races. With events ranging from 1.5km to 10km, there’s a swimming challenge on offer for everyone. Will you be taking part in one of the events?

If you’re thinking of attending the BEST Fest in 2020, why not consider training in style for it on one of our coaching camps? Our Channel and Long Distance Training and 10km Marathon Swim Camps take place in March and May respectively, giving you the perfect environment to achieve your swimming goals and just in time to make the difference at your BEST Fest event in May 2020.

Our trips offer a combination of technique training, seminars covering key topics on how to prepare for longer distance events and of course plenty of time out in the open water to develop your skills.

Make sure to let us know if you’ll be attending the BEST Fest and what events you’ll be entering. You may even see a SwimTrek team competing at the event too…
