Guides

Lizzie De Bono
Since joining Swimtrek in 2007, Lizzie has swum extensively around the Mediterranean Sea and now feels more at home swimming in the deep blue of Sardinia and Gozo. Lizzie loves to travel and believes that seeing the world at sea level is the only way.

Hailing from Melbourne, Lizzie grew up swimming in the chilly waters of the Bass Strait along the Great Ocean Road, as well as her local swimming pool, where she competed both for her local club and school.

Lizzie now spends the Australian summers training for large swims and is looking to achieve some long distances swims, both in Australia and when she returns to Europe.

Update May 2012
Lizzie has just completed a crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar in 4 hours!
