Swim history before SwimTrek
I have swum since I was a child and used to compete at both a local club level and for my school. I first completed my lifeguarding qualifications when I was 15 at a Surf Club called Fairhaven which is located on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria Australia. I now belong to Coogee Surf Club, in Sydney Australia and am a volunteer lifeguard there over the Australian summer. I have also been swimming in the ocean races that run around Australia since I was a teenager. I have swum in races from the Pier to Pub to the Rottnest Island swim. I have coached kids to swim since I was at Uni and now coach private lesson's at Wylie's Sea baths (Sydney). I have also swum the Straights of Gibraltar, a duo crossing of Rottnest Island and The Big Bloody Swim (11.2km)

Most memorable swim moment
Any swim where I slip into that rhythm that feels fluid and feels like I can swim forever, it normally happens over a longer distance and sometimes even occurs during a training session.
Top swimming tip
RELAX, keep turning those arms over and don't think about it too much. And Zoggs Predator Goggles, I can't live without them.
Interesting fact about you
