Getting There:
You can either go by ferry on the Scillonian III from Penzance
or fly from Land's End, Bristol, Bournemouth, Exeter,
Newquay or Southampton all operated by Isles of Scilly Travel

You can also fly by helicopter from Penzance with British International Helicopters
Please contact either of these groups for more information on flight and ferry times.

Passports & Visas:
The Isles of Scilly are part of the United Kingdom. If you are
from outside the UK, you will require a full passport to enter,
that should be valid for 6 months beyond the expected length
of stay. Holders of Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, South
African and US Passports are given "leave to enter" the UK.
Citizens of the EU do not need a visa to enter. Visa regulations
do change. Please check!

Vaccinations:
No vaccinations are necessary.

Accommodation:
In order to maximise the enjoyment of the tour, our
accommodation is of a good standard, based on twin-share
(single rooms available at an additional cost) and when available
en-suite facilities.
(Single Supplement Fee = £60 a limited number available)

Meals:
All breakfasts and lunches are included. Dinners are not included,
but this gives the ability to choose where, when and with who you would like to dine.

Extra Expenses:
You should bring extra money with you to cover items such as
entertainment, dinner, snacks, souvenirs etc.

Group Size:
Up to a maximum of 14 people, with 2 swimming guides, a
local pilot and 2 motorised boat escorts.

Remember you can always miss out some of the crossings or
jump onto the escort boat if you want to take a rest at any stage.

Walking Conditions:
Moderate walking across tracks and trails as we cross 7 of the
islands.

Wetsuit Availability:
We have a range of swimming specific wetsuits available on
each trip if required.

Essential Equipment:

In addition to normal items, you will need to bring the following:
  • Swimming Costume (2 of)
  • Swimming Goggles (2 of) 1 clear & 1 tinted for available light
  • Sweater/Fleece
  • Sun Hat
  • Towel
  • Waterproof Sun Cream
  • Small Daypack
  • Walking shoes
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Waterproof trousers
  • Woolly hat
  • A thermos flask
  • Aqua Shoes / Sandals (which you don’t mind getting wet!)

Please note that SwimTrek will supply water bottles, swim hats
and has a stock of flippers if required.
