Dahab has been chosen to offer the swimmer an idyllic swimming location in the northern hemishpere winter.

The coral coast line of the Red Sea in the Sinai region stretches for more than 800km with a backdrop of harsh red mountains to the North and the distant shorelines of Saudi Arabia in the South. Our central location in the laid back coastal town of Dahab enables us to explore a vast array of reefs, dive sights and secluded coast lines.

This location is ideal for open water swimming as most reefs are only within 5 metres of the surface.

There are few signs of mass tourism here and because of the natural warm waters and year round sunshine it is a great winter escape from the northern hemisphere.

Sea life is also plentiful, so expect to cross paths with some of the Red Sea's most beautiful creatures.

Later in the week we take a camel safari to a remote stretch of reef, swim past coral formations that rise deep from the sea bed.
