To get to Prvic, you can fly into either Split or Zadar. There are a number of scheduled services to Split & Zadar from various British and European cities.
Travel Overview:
From Split:
You need to make your way to Sibenik to catch the ferry. If you get a taxi from the airport you can travel direct to Sibenik. If you are travelling by bus you will need to make your way to Trogir which is 10 minutes by taxi 60Kuna. You then catch the bus from outside Konzum supermarket which is across from the bus terminal. You will arrive in at Sibenik bus terminal where you need to walk 200m to the ferry port near all the restaurants. Everyone will know where the ticket office is so ask for assistance if needed. You then hop off at Privic Luqua stop and the hotel is 100m away. Travel time from 2—3 hours depending on waiting time for bus and ferry.
Travel in Detail:
For more details on all international airlines into Split & Zadar visit
Split Airport's comprehensive website. or
Zadar Airport's comprehensive website.
To make your way to Šibenik, you have 2 options:
Take a taxi. You can either catch an “official” taxi from outside the airport terminal, at approximately 700 Kuna (£70) or you could catch an “unofficial” taxi near the airport bus stop (see below). You may have to haggle and the current rate is approximately 350 Kuna (£35). You could of course share this cost with some of your fellow tour members.
Catch a bus Once outside the terminal, you need to go to the far side of the car park and wait at the yellow bus shelter on the near side of the main road. The bus from here goes to Trogir and takes 10 minutes (buses every 30 minutes). The fare is approximately 10 Kuna (£1). When the bus terminates at the central bus station in Trogir, you then need to cross the road and 100 metres further ahead there is a bus stop right outside a “KONZUM” supermarket. Long distance buses stop here (roughly every 30 minues). Buses to Zadar and Rijeka should all stop at Šibenik and Vodice. Best to check with the driver.
The fare from Trogir to Šibenik should be around 35 Kuna (£3). The journey should take around 1 hour.
From Zadar– Sibenik
When catching a taxi from the airport, the distance to Sibenik is similar as from Split along with the cost.
Bus: You will need to make your way to Zadar Town, which is about 3km away. From the bus terminal you need to catch the bus heading towards Split which will stop at Sibenik bus station. Just confirm with the bus driver before departing. They depart between 6am—11pm roughly every 30 minutes and will cost approx 50 Kuna, plus small charge for baggage.
To get to Privic, you will need to catch a ferry from Šibenik. N.B. There are 2 ferry stops on Prvic. Make sure you disembark at Prvic Luka.
