Greetings!
Well, what a year! We have run around 30 trips this
year and still have a few more to go. It's also been a
year of historical firsts! The first ever swim from the
Turkish mainland to the ancient island of Tenedos
(Bozcaada). While, in Britain we swam The Thames
from Lechlade into Oxford, a trip which will feature in
London's Evening Standard next year.
On the subject of firsts, on Saturday 23rd October we
are holding our inaugural SwimTrek end of season
Gala, BBQ & Party. It will be a good opportunity to
enjoy a lovely evening by the pool as well as catching
up with SwimTrek swimmers and guides. In addition,
there will be a prize draw in aid of the Royal National
Lifeboat Institute for the chance to win a free
SwimTrek trip to the location of your choice for the
2005 season.
