Mia Russell

Mia believes she could definitely swim before she could walk! At 18 months she was diving in (Mark Spitz, move over…) and swimming around without armbands and by eight was demonstrating how to swim an individual medley at school galas, so swimming has been a big part of her life from a very early age.

As our local Croatian guide based on Prvic, her local knowledge of the islands will keep you entertained during the day, while  her absolute love for teaching and belief that there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a swimmer take their first few strokes, is sure to come across during the video analysis sessions.

During a short trip home Mia was lucky enough to take part in the Robben Island freedom day swim and hopes to also add Hellespont to her list for 2009.
