Mark Faure Walker

Mark was introduced to open water swimming on a swimtrek holiday in turkey which culminated in a crossing of the hellespont at 5 am as the sun rose over Asia. He competed in a relay triathlon from marble arch in London to the arc de triomphe in Paris. After getting horribly lost the team arrived in Paris at 4 am on a Sunday morning where a gendarme tried to arrest them for parking their camper van under the arc de triomphe!  He has swum in open water races in the Thames, lake Zurich and Alcatraz and is a regular at the cold water swimming championships in London and Finland.
