SwimTrek raises funds for worthy causes

The SwimTrek end of season party was held in November in London. Over 200 guests attended along with guides. Over £500 was raised for 2 worthwile charities, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability and the London Pools campaign.

The Royal Hospital specialises in treating individuals who have suffered damage to their brain or nervous system often caused by traffic accidents and illnesses. Among many treatments, the Royal hospital (www.rhn.org.uk) uses hydrotherapy to aid in the rehabilitation of its patients.

The London Pools Campaign aims at preserving and expanding existing pool stock within the UK capital. A number of pools are facing closure and the LPC's aim is to work with local grouops to fight this.

  •   We are pleased to announce the launching of SwimTrek's first trips to Malta in 2006. Known as the Jewel of the Mediterranean, Malta's crystal clear blue waters and southerly location make it an ideal location for a combination of island hopping, cliff swimming and bay traversing.

We are limited in 2006 for available trips, so best to book up early. If you have come on our other Mediterranean trips and want more of the same, then Malta is sure to appeal to you.
