Swimathon Weekend 2012
Swimathon joins forces with Big Splash
In 2012, Swimathon has joined forces with British Swimming and BBC's Big Splash, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sport Relief to promote what is hoped will be the biggest and best swimming event ever, the Swimathon Weekend.

Swimathon Weekend hits 645 pools across the UK between 27-29 April. In its 25th year, Swimathon has joined forces with British Swimming and BBC’s Big Splash, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Sport Relief to promote what is hoped will be the biggest Swimathon Weekend ever.
What is the Swimathon Weekend?
The Swimathon Weekend is a variety of challenges that swimmers can take part in over one weekend, 27-29 April 2012. The Swimathon Weekend 2012 challenges are designed to suit all levels of fitness, ability and age. A breakdown of the new challenge/charity format is below:

Don’t worry if you are unable to make a session over the Swimathon Weekend 2012 – you can always register for the SimplySwim for Marie Curie Cancer Care; a challenge which allows you to swim your own chosen distance, at any pool, and at any time.
Your Swimathon Distance Challenge efforts will be helping to support the work of Marie Curie Cancer Care, and your Big Splash Mile achievements will be helping to support the work of Sport Relief.
